Our History

AZ Dyslexia Center was formed to fill the need for qualified Reading Therapy Services for children and youth with dyslexia or suspected dyslexia. Our group is comprised of extremely well-educated Reading Therapists. We are dyslexia specialists and teachers who have been trained in Orton-Gillingham reading programs and understand the need for multi-sensory instruction. We use explicit Orton-Gillingham based reading programs that have proven to be successful for students who have a specific disability in the areas of reading or written expression.

At AZ Dyslexia Center, our goal is to give you a step-by-step approach to help you understand what dyslexia is (and what it is not), develop an action plan, begin to get help, and become your own best advocate. In addition, we provide advocacy services, consultations, records review and presentations about dyslexia for teachers, other interested groups and the public.

Choose AZ Dyslexia Center and begin to take action with a free intake appointment. Meet with our specialists to review the developmental and educational history of your child, and address your concerns. Discuss what type of evaluation and intervention services may help your child. You will be informed of all costs now (prior to beginning services).

What We Believe

As reading therapists, we believe that every student, regardless of learning style or academic challenges, deserves all the tools to be successful. We strive to make our students responsible and empowered individuals who take ownership of their learning.

As specialists in dyslexia, we understand the struggles students and families endure until there is a reason to find hope. At AZDC they find that reason for hope. This is our passion. We want to help your child and your family.

When students realize they simply learn differently, they are free to discover the real joy of learning!

We offer a free phone consultation to determine if our services meet the needs of your child and family. We look forward to meeting with you! If you have questions, please contact us at 480-848-1155.
